California Book Awards

Congratulations to the winners of the 81st annual California Book Award. The winners were just announced, and will be recognized at an awards ceremony at The Commonwealth Club's main auditorium in San Francisco on June 7, 2012. This year's California Book Awards program is sponsored by Bank of the West.

We at Book Passage were pleased that three of this year's winners were also First Editions Club picks. Each also did an event at our store, as did Jonathan Lethem, who won the Silver Medal for nonfiction. Some signed first edition copies of Héctor Tobar and Peter Orner's books are still available. Please inquire or place an order by clicking on the link below.
