tonight

by Michelle Richmond

I'll be at Book Passage in the Ferry Building tonight, reading from my new novel, THE YEAR OF FOG, at 7:00 p.m. The Ferry Building is a great spot to catch a reading, as you can dine before or after at The Slanted Door, pick up some excellent cheese at Cowgirl Creamery, buy a snazzy spatula at Sur la Table, and get your garden growing at Kingdom of Herbs.

There's a nice piece about The Year of Fog by Samantha Berry in the April issue of Marin Magazine, and the novel will be excerpted next month in Family Circle. It was also the featured book club read recently in Cookie Magazine. If you're interested in how the book came about, you can read Mark Pritchard's interview at SF Metblogs here. Details of the film option with Newmarket Films were released yesterday.

Please come tonight, and bring a friend or two!

I didn't make it, but hope your Ferry Building event was fun--I love that place.

Are you finding all of this, exhilirating or exhausting? I recall another author, appearing at BP, humorously explaining how "book tour will kill you."

Cheers, T
